POWERLIFTING
Powerlifting is a strength sport that consists of three main lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. The goal is to lift as much weight as possible for one repetition in each lift. Athletes compete in weight classes, and their best successful attempt in each lift is combined for a total score. Powerlifting focuses on maximal strength and proper lifting technique.
STRONGMAN
Strongman is a strength sport that challenges athletes with a wide variety of events, such as lifting atlas stones, pressing logs, carrying yokes, and pulling trucks. Unlike traditional gym-based training, Strongman focuses on real-world, functional strength, testing an athlete’s raw power, endurance, grip, and mental toughness. Events often vary, making adaptability and all-around strength essential for success.
OLYMPIC LIFTING
Olympic lifting is a competitive strength sport consisting of two explosive lifts: the snatch, and the clean and jerk. Athletes aim to lift the maximum weight overhead with precision, speed, and technique. It requires a combination of strength, mobility, coordination, and power. Olympic lifting is also a key component in athletic training due to its full-body engagement and performance benefits.
